10/2025 - Viernes the 03rd - MY JOURNEY

In 1974 at Wichita State University at the Round House I was lucky enough to see Elvis Presley live in concert. Absolutlely amazing!!! Wish there had been iPhone back then. The positively the best night of my life!!

Today's Name Day: Evald, Osvald

Had a wonderful friend named Evald. Cool guy who collected farm machinery & made several trips to Sweden just to explore farm equipment. Sure miss him!!

Unfortunately we have all heard of an Osvald.

Not my best day. Called in sick again. I have not felt normal since last week thursday night with super low blood sugar that never came up to normal. Felt bad ever since then. I had one good day during the last week & that was on sunday. I truly think my 3+ chronic illnesses had a group meeting & voted to make my life hell. It worked.

Kisse rarely sleeps on my bed. For short times but rarely. Today I woke up with Kisse curled on my bed & stayed there. Cinder was on her chair staring at me. What??? Was I snoring or talking or something? They stayed in those positions all morning. Although Cinder did snuggle now & then.

Glad I did not work. I doubt I could have walked up the sidewalk to the Mill. And the basement steps would have taken me hours to walk down or back up. Severe knee pain. I think there is another place I could park but the steps...............!!!!

So I called in then I feel lots of guilt. I always feel responsible what I need to do. The last week has been a challenge for me.

This weekend down to work at the SVAFC. Hopefully that will work. Very short walk to get to the door. Just sit & talk to visitors. Seems doable. Supper out??? Big IF!!! I just don't care at all anymore. I just want my life back as it was.

Too warm today. And tomorrow. But cooler is on the way & rain. See if they are right.

TV is finally improving. Tonight on Graham Norton Taylor Swift is one of the guests. Cool And she is on upcoming late night shows. Saturday Night Live starts new this sat. Finally!!!

10/2025 - Jueves the 02nd - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Love, Ludvig

Had an ok day. Had major car trouble with a dead battery. Even though KN is sowing wheat he took time to help me yesterday & today.

I went to Assaria to my mechanic to put a new battery in. Only took him 2 hours!!!! 😱 No more to just put a new battery in. One must take many pieces of the car off. No bueno!!! He was not smiling!

There is a very nice lady who works in Assaria. We had plenty of time to chat. I should go there for coffee sometime. Nice to have a visit.

Every thing works except the cruise control. Dang. MM is planning to look at my car to see if he has a clue. If not will start calling mechanics later. Hard for me to drive without it. Remember one time I leased a car to drive to Denver. No cruise. Miserable trip. Lesson learned.

Took a long nap when I got home. Cinder snuggled next to me for all of it. She knew I needed some love & support.

Tried a new meal for supper. Pretty good. Meat loaf, mashed taters, & gravy.

Weather felt ok. I took myself to Lindsborg for ice cream. Did not need it but certainly deserved it. Had 2 stressful days. Hopefully tomorrow is normal. Lunch out with with LL. My turn to pay. Supper alone out. JR too busy to eat out. Alone is sometimes good. Just to sit quietly.

Did find out the bridge that is being replaced over interstate has had the driving part has been poured. Getting close!!!
