01/2025 Lördag the 26th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Bodil, Boel

    I am not having a good day.  I am not happy.  I had a fun day planned.  Ended early.

    Slept ok but woke up with a bad headache.  When I changed out of my jammies I totally wrenched my back getting clothes back on.  Lots of pain & hard to walk.

    Worse is I feel like I am getting a cold.  Cough.  Hard to breathe.  Total paranoia about "surgery" on wednesday,  And scared.  I do not want to cancel.  DO NOT.

    Soooooo.  I cancelled eating out & going to hear my fave artist talk again about his art.  Will text him later.

    I took pain pills that are not helping as much as I want.  I am using 2 essential oils very often.  They are Thieves & Immunity.  Plus one called Breathe.  Hope they stop whatever is trying to make me sicker.

    Back better but headache worse.  FML.

    I gave up on my coats I bought this year.  The larger one is super warm & too huge.  Dang.  The smaller one is too small.  I can wear a tee shirt but no more.  Hard to get on & off.  I always wear a sweater cardigan but no bueno.  Last night I picked a coat with no hood in the larger size  Hopefully that will be the one.  Comes today sometime.

    Got to feel ok tomorrow.  Laptop goes in to be worked on & I need to go to Hutch to sign papers.  I can nap in the car after that if necessary!!!

    Got cold last night & 32F now.  The house is cold.  Turned the heat up a bit.  See if that helps.

01/2025 Lördag the 25th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Pål, Paul

    Had another quiet day.  Cool & dry.  Texts from JR & MM.  News that my daughter went to another state to visit her son, my grandson.  Lucky her.  I have made peace with the fact I most likely will never see him again or hear any kind words from him in my life again.  His choice.  I have tried.  There are things I need to have settled with him but not sure how.  Maybe need to talk to my lawyer.  One step at a time.  One thing to be hateful but not to take advantage of me.

    He posted one photo of them all so I can see what they all look like.  Some changes but none for the better.  Save it for genealogy.

    I was out briefly but did nothing outside.  Too cold.

    Slept pretty well.  Was awake for awhile middle of the night.  Pretty normal.  Some back pain probably from the cold front that arrived overnight.  Better today.

    Cinder did not nap with me until I woke up.  Then she laid on my chest.  She & Kisse are so used to napping together.  That is good for them.

01/2025 Fredag the 24th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

Today's Name Day:  Erika

    I had a great day!!  Slept good but could not get warm.  Finally turned the heat upl. That helped.

    Started my day with lunch with LL.  We ate at the White Peacock.  They were very busy but I got there early & got a table.  My fave artist was there.  Good to see him,'

    Then on to the Old Mill Museum for a work day.  Great to be there.  I had started a new book of family photos & I got it all finished.  Started on book 3.  Love these photos.  The one guy in this book had a skunk farm.  He trapped skunks for their fur.  Odd.

    Next I picked up JR for supper at  Jalisco's..  Mercy were they busy!!!  Poor PR!  He was running & trying to answer the phone & serve food!!!  His wife & I even got a bit of the giggles together!  I hated to hear she is retuning to Mexico soon & so is their daughter.  I will miss them.

    We bought a few groceries before I went home.  I was sooo sleepy,  I got home & took a 2 hours nap.  Now up & done with spanish. Cinder is curled on my chest & does not care that I am keying on my laptop.  She missed me.

    Cold front here now & colder outside.  Explains my sore back..

01/2025 Torsdag the 23h - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Frej, Freja

    Had a good day.  No anxiety I am grateful to say.  Had my hair cut, colored, & styled.  Plus fun talking to Henry.  He is the best.

    Next to his station there was another stylist & customer.  Both are maga followers.  I tried not to listen but oh, my!!!!  They were talking about a 70-80 year old great grandmother who is pregnant.  They will believe anything.  OMG!!!  None too bright.

    It was a bit cooler today & last night.  We had a small bit of snow that amounted to nothing.  Sunny on the way home.  All roads are cleared but everywhere else lots & lots of white snow.

    Too many bags of trash in the house.  Saturday they go out.  No time before then.

    Having trouble with my laptop.  Said something to Henry.  Thank goodness I did.  He told me about a place I never heard of that can fix anything.  Great.  I stopped on the way home.  Laptop goes in on monday.  Can do that then head for Hutchinson to sign papers.  Then rest on tuesday.  Laser on wednesday.  Getting a bit nervous, but sooo ready.  Hope it helps.

    Have a candle burning for relaxtion.  Smells awesome.  Called Pink Snowscape.   Before bed I have a cup of hot apple cider.  Love it.  Relaxing also.
