Finally!!! Rain!!

I took Nico out during the night. And I saw lightning! And there was a cool breeze. Then when I got up this morning and it was raining. Amazing! The weather apps all said it would be 102F today. Only made it to the upper 80s. Still very humid but the house stayed at 80F. What a shock.

Went to lunch with my daughter. Of course we were at Jalisco's. They were really busy!! N and I had a good visit. I am so grateful and happy she is back in my life.

The oddest thing has happened. Had a cortisone shot in my knee. Ever since my hands have not had had any pain. Weird. But I am happy. Nice to sleep without pain. A blessing. 

Had a special day in my marriage today. Our anniversary. He forgot last year. I expected the same this year. Yes. No mention, no dinner out, no flowers, no nothing. I could mention it but then he forces himself to eat out and drive after dark. Easier and less stress on me to just let it slide.
