Today was a wonderful day. My brother J and I had plans but we changed them. We ate at Jalisco's and then took off to spend the afternoon taking photos. His photos are always much better than mine. He has a wonderful new camera, I have my iPhone. But I am going to get a new camera. Probably next week.
We took photos at the Smoky Hill Cemetery, Coronado Heights, Dry Creek Cemetery, prairie scenes, Lindsborg. The best day!
On Coronado Heights there were so many cars there! No place to park. And several motorcycles. Many of the people there had remote controlled little cars or trucks. Four buys were walking up to the top of CH driving their cars and racing them! It was fun to watch all of them.
A couple of days ago there was a car that caught fire up on CH. We took photos of where the hill burned. Good sized area. I did not see any real damage to anything which is good. There are lots of stories of things that have happened up on the hill.
I was supposed to be a nice day today. Wrong. Stayed far too cool for Nico to go outside. Hope tomorrow is better.
Have a doctor appointment in Wichita this wednesday. But there is snow and icy roads forecast for tuesday night and wednesday morning. Think I will reschedule. Do not want to wait until the last minute.
It is not fair. No matter how great my day is it just never ends good. Why is that? Just not fair.
