A fun sunday. Lunch with my brother J at Jalisco's. I am sure they are sick of me!! My daughter did not join us. Missed her. Will see her on wednesday.
J and I looked through more of Mom's stuff. Her old camera bag for camera supplies. Nice bag but old. And her camera in another smaller bag. I now have custody of it all. The camera has film in it with about 6 photos taken. I wonder what they are. Will find out soon!
And then there were 3 of her golfing hats. I looked so lovely in them! So did my brother!! Lots of laughs!
Found 2 autograph books. They were fun. All her younger siblings signed in them. Sweet messages. Some were written 88 years ago. How can that be? Makes me so sad.
And lastly a large box of papers/photos of her class reunions. What a treasure trove in information. She was in the class of Lindsborg High School 1939. We wondered if there was anyone who wanted it but there is no one. Mom would be 96 now. No more reunions. Will check with our local museum. All those important things --- addresses, names, spouses, food served --- does not matter now. Life is fleeting and sad. Do not waste time.
