Doctor

I went to see the doctor today. Friends had convinced me I had the flu for sure. I got checked all over and had my nose swabbed. I am relieved that I do not have the flu, just an upper respiratory infection. It is a virus so there are not medicines to help although I can buy anything over the counter. I choose not to buy anything. Too many chemicals. If my essential cannot help then I tough it out.

This is my second round of having a cold. The other one lasted 3 weeks. Plus I am so tired I can barely move. Hopefully it will pass.

I have been cold again today. Finally cranked the heat and too a long nap. I skipped lunch and my insulin. Today I do not care. Now I am too warm. Frustrating.

We were supposed to have snow today. Ha. Not a flake. Not the hint of a flake. Makes all the snow haters thrilled but not me. I am sad. But much better they are happy than me. I have learned that over the years.
