Storm

What a night we had! We had some snow forecast but the weathermen are so often wrong for us. There is always moisture around us but never here.

Last night around 11pm or so I heard rain. Or so I thought. I went out and it was ice pellets coming down.

Then I heard some noise on the porch. I thought. We have 2 feral cats that eat on our porch and a possum. Possums are very good ---- they eat ticks ---- and are not agressive so he is welcome. So I went to check. No! It was lightning and thunder!!

There was a heavy frozen mist. And suddenly heavy rain!

When Nico and I went out at 330am it was still misting. Glad I did not need to go anywhere. My car was a solid frozen mess.

Today it stayed cold but had some sun so a lot of melting.
