Usual Friday

This morning was my Svenskavänskaps Gruppen ---- Swedish Friendship Group. I love being there. Had a good group. One of our group gave a program of WWI songs. What fun! Even though we did not know them, most of us sang along!! And our hostess brought some yummy treats!!

Then lunch with my friend J. We solved the world's programs, as usual. Oh, if the world would just listen! We talked about many other things also. Good to see of friends who work there also. Always a fun time. I am lucky to have the friends I have.

I came home and did nothing of any importance. I stopped to get a new med at a new pharmacy. Going to switch everything over to the one in town. I like driving to Abilene but it is frustrating when the weather is bad but I need to be closer. And I can drive to Abilene anytime I want. Nice town.

I was exposed to strep throat last monday. Tonight I have a little sore throat. Paranoid? Real? Hope I am just being paranoid.

Nice weather was alright today. A little chilly. I thought it was to windy but nothing today. Now they say tomorrow. And the stupid weatherman is making a huge deal out of heavy rains east of our state. Who cares? That is not here and does us no good. I do not want to hear it. All we get here is dust.

We are having calves now. I need to get my good camera and get some photos. They are all little black babies. So sweet!
