Rain!

Today started off ok. Not a lot of breeze and very humid. Just love summer. Yuck. But this afternoon rain built up. We were in a tornado watch but got nothing here but rain. That was nice. Of course, we did not get enough rain. All the severe storms, tornados, hail, etc. were all around us. I am relieved. Nico never gets scared. We sat outside for a while. Cool and refreshing.

I had lunch with my daughter. She needed to talk so we sat in Jalisco's for 3 hours. Surprised we did not have to pay rent! It was good. By the time we left we were laughing!

I did soak out tornado shelter with peppermint oil so any critters in there would vacate. I did not see any lives bugs. Lots of dead ones. My spouse did sweep it out and then left so I was alone during all our warnings. Used to bother me. No more. I just figure what happens, happens. Anyone being here will not save me.
