NINE months today. NINE I have been in semi-quarantine. And the simple things that some of us do to help get rid of Covid 19 could be done by all of us. No weak excuses, just do it. We could be getting better instead of getting worse. And it will get much worse still. The vaccine is not the end all be all when many will refuse it. I see no end in sight.
Had a good day. Saw HP for haircut and style. Always a good day when I see him, look good, and get a hug. He is the only one who will hug me.
Then I treated myself to ice cream and a coke at Sonic. My Irish friend RW and I were texting. I laid my phone down to start my car and accidently called him!!! Actually it was a good thing. Great to see him and hear his sweet Irish accent. And he thought I have an accent! I do not think I do but we do here. There was a huge group of us in Vegas. The waitress finally asked where we were from. She could not place our accent! We had a great video visit. He has art on his walls like I do so we talked art. But. He was sitting in front of a wonderful old looking fireplace. So jealous. Much better than my room heater. Maybe I can cover it with a huge photo of a fireplace!!
Tried to take a short nap but I just hurt too bad. No idea why. No pain when I got up. Stupid RA.
I sent a card to my aunt and told her I could not attend the ceremony at my uncle's grave. I explained I have been ill for a while and am not up to it. They have both ripped me a time or two and she may again. Her problem. Because my back aches so bad I cannot stand for long periods of time. Years of being a nurse and lifting and turning patients with no to little help took its toll. And RA on top of that does not help.
