What an awesome day! I slept good and then I picked up JR. We had a road trip. Went to Maxwell Game Preserve and the Maxwell Lake.
When we got to the preserve there were tons of bison near and on the road. Oh, for the photos. JR's will be better but at least I try. We saw one quite young one. Wrong time of year but it will be ok. I never got a photo of it. It was not on my side of the car.
We drove on and there was a bison that was on the wrong side of the fence. A worker on a 4 wheeler was herding it home to a pen next to a house. It knew where to go. I got some photos of the event.
Then we spent time by the lake. A bit chilly even though it was 70 out. A little breeze. Beautiful lake. The last time we were there we saw and photographed turtles and herons. Too late in the year this time. It was relaxing. No real plans for supper. Depended when we got back to town. I set a 4 hour limit. Nico is ok for 4 yours. Kitty is good forever!
We had supper in Jalisco's. They were busy so little time to chat. No big deal.
My mood was not good when I got home. The holidays are already getting to me. It starts on Nov. 16 and ends on Jan. 10. Lots of sadness in between. So far no Thanksgiving plans. Have to decide soon. I miss the community dinner we always had. No will do it now. Leaves many people with no where to go and no one to be with. Other towns have one but I do not know anyone there. Why would I go. Facebook becomes sort of a living hell for me seeing all the wonderful plans. But such is my life so I will smile and say how great things are.
