Wandering, 10 january 2022

    I had an ok day for being alone.  Very pleasant out after lunch.  It was rather chilly last night but then warmed up.  I was chilly so I turned on my room heater and when I woke up from my nap it was summer warm in the house!!!

    Outside the prairie was calm and pretty. Most of the snow is gone.  I am sad. The pond still looks frozen but I would not walk on it.  Most likely a bit thin.  Sat out for a while and I never heard nor saw a bird.  Nor any other wild life.

    I am the secretary of the Historical group from Lindsborg.  The smart thing to do would be to write up my minutes the next day after our meeting or so.  Buuuuut.  We meet tomorrow and I started doing them today.  AND.  I could not find anything.  I use my reMarkable 2 to take notes, etc.  I searched every where.  Nothing for Nov. 11, 2021.  I almost grabbed the tequila!!  I finally opened the app on my laptop to see if I had somehow trashed my notes.  Nope.  But.  They were there.  But why not on my reMarkable 2?  I tried to transfer them and they would not.  Opened my reMarkable 2 up and there they were.  Big sigh of relief.  Got my minutes written up.

    Last night Nico found a small bottle of something that fell on the floor in the bedroom.  Nothing important.  When I was up later I tried to find it but he must have hid it.  He does that especially with his treats.  After I got in bed I felt something round and smooth.  There it was.  He brought it to bed with him.  You can find his treats on the sofa in several places, under tables or boxes.  He is a quirky dog.  Need to write about him more.

    Watching the Maine Cabin Masters.  I would love to be in Maine.  Looks like heaven.  Sad to think I will never be there.  But I watch that show all the time and dream.

    As usual a too quiet day but I am not as isolated feeling as usual.  My RA pain has been better for a couple of days.  Wish that would last.  Even my eyes are not as blurry.  

    No rain this week or next.  The weathermen are so excited that the snow is gone and it is warm.  Not a one of them is a farmer.  If we get no wheat we have no income.  That hurts the towns also.  No income no spending money.  So glad they are happy.

FYI:  I have taken these myself.  And all edits are done by me and only me.  Right now I do not appear to be in jail but it has come and gone a lot.  A good friend is now having the same thing happen to him.  Again he sees nothing wrong with anything he has posted.  Makes life interesting.

 The black cat was from some years ago.  Either a feral cat or from our neighbors.  The shiny car window is in an ice storm.  The fur kids in bed was during a blizzard warning.  They were waiting for it to hit.  Or sleeping!
