Wandering, 11 february 2022

Had a warm day.  Our low was 46 and the high was 55.  We were supposed to have high winds but maybe they were elsewhere.  We had a little wind but nothing drastic.  Warmish all weekend and first of next week.  Then our major moisture event arrives.  HA.

Slept ok but having more pain.  Last night I was like a pinball machine.  Felt like a ball was bouncing on my body.  I would hurt in one place then it would move to another area, ad nauseum.  I still slept.  Nico was a mess in bed.  Not sure what he did but every time I got up he had the sheets almost on the floor.  Weird.

I think Kisse is starting to sleep on our bed.  The other night when I turned over she jumped out of the bed.  Last night she curled up on me.  Nice.  She is getting cosier during the day, too.

The new kitty who still has no name, seems to be fitting in outside.  I try not to feed her too much.  I noticed today when all of us inside were napping, so was she.  All curled up on the porch in the sunshine.

The prairie was rather pretty today.  The breeze kept the grasses swaying.  And the pond was gorgeous!  It was all sparkly with waves.  Cattle were everywhere, taking life easy.  Might be a rude awakening come midweek.

My Spanish is going pretty good.  The other day MA said in Spanish "see you sunday".  I looked it up but could not find what he said.  So he explained to me when we left tonight.  I am sort of dense sometimes and he gave me 3 versions.  On the way home I had a moment of enlightenment.  I realised what he had said ---- "Hasta domingo".  I knew that and have used it.  And will continue to use it.  I passed my last two tests.  Finish this and back to test 3.

JR and I met PM for supper.  Good food and good company.  PM and I talked of old times.  I love that.  Someone on FB asked question about the old sale barn that was in town.  JR has no memories of it.  I do remember seeing it but was never in it.  Learned a lot.

Photos today are all taken by me.  My one camera app has added a macro view.  These are all macro shots.  Nothing special.  The first 3 photos are from a jar of potpourri.  Smells good!
