09 april, 2022 Wandering

    Today was an ok day.  Home alone as usual.  I am used to it.  Sometimes I do not want to do anything but stay home.  I have to fight that feeling.  Not healthy.

    Pretty good weather.  Too warm for no AC.  Guess I will call again next week.  I try to leave the heat off so the house cools off & is livable.

    Nico & I sat outside twice.  I counted 4 turkey vultures in the air.  They are so graceful as they soar on the air currents.  They are not a pretty bird but i sure like them.  They are peaceful.  I do not think I have ever heard how they sound.  Need to google that.  I used to hear some kind of growl at night.  I googled.  Turned out to be a bobcat.  We have mountain lions here so I did not want to go out if that was what I was hearing!  They follow the deer, their favorite food.  You are not allowed to hurt them and I have not heard that they are hunting cattle.  Although I am sure some blood thirsty hunters will argue since they want a large animal to kill & stuff & brag how manly they are.

    Cinder is getting braver.  As Nico is out doing his business she comes up to rub on my legs and I can pet her.  Until Nico sees what is going on.  He is just not going to be nice to her.  What a brat.  I think he sort of accepted Kisse when I brought her in since they knew each other from outside when she was tiny.

    Tonight was Prom in town.  They had a parade of cars, etc. with couples in them.  JR took photos.  There was a cattle trailer or horse trailer that was in the parade.  It was rocking back and forth.  There were 10 young men in it.  Cool.  I have been there once but not recently.  I have no kids or family in school and no need to go sit alone.  I will look at photos.

    Saturdays are usually bad tv days.  But on the Science Channel is a show called Expedition.  I enjoy it.  Kind has to do with hauntings.  They go to ghost towns sometimes.  Fun!  Better than what the main channels offer.  I lost all interest in them during the pandemic.  All were reruns.  I lost interest.  The Science Channel, Magnolia Channel, Travel Channel, HGTV are so much better.

    Photos today are just a mix of things.  Nothing special.  The hill with the double rainbow is the hill I see from my house.  Love the rainbows.  The large building is our City Building.  I think it was a bank many years ago.
