10 may, 2022 Wandering

    Had an OK day.  Sleep was iffy but I survived.  I got up early so I could take a long nap this afternoon.  And I could eat supper out, which I did.

    I had a historical group board meeting.  I am the secretary.  Since I ate supper out, I skipped the program.  Cannot leave Nico home too long without worrying.

    The board meeting was short and fun.  We had lots of laughs.  One is my boss at the Old Mill and the others I rarely see.  If I eat out then there is no program for me.  That is ok.  My evenings are filled as it is ---- blog, Spanish lessons, etc.

    My AC still cannot keep up.  I saw 94F outside today.  Too hot!  Cooler is coming.  I hope.  And some rain.  I hope.

    I was so proud of myself that I had a sentence planned in Spanish.  It was all good but one word.  I said I was a little tired and I was hot.  But I used the wrong kind of ^hot^.  JS got a laugh.  Finally got the right word for hot --- calor.  Not caliente!!

    Got to Jalisco's and it felt like my house ---- warm & stuffy.  Their AC was on the fritz also.  But my board meeting was in a church & it felt good.

    It was windy this morning but now it is calm.  Poor Cinder.  She lays under my car.  No sun but lots of breeze.  Got home and she was stretched on the porch with no breeze.  Poor baby!

    Played with photos today.  Found some new collage patterns and tested several.  I added one of me & one of flowers.  Will do more.

    I have a new favorite meal at Jalisco's.  Two sunny side up eggs, a red sauce, rice, beans with cheese on the beans.  Just too good for words.

    Photos are mostly flowers, one of me, one of the church I was in, & one of two turkey vultures I took just now.  And one flew out of a tree as I was taking it.
