A so-so day. Nothing exciting. Small amount of rain overnight. No further flooding. I think. Nothing leaking from the AC. Hope that is the problem. But rain daily or twice daily through thursday. Oh joy. NOT.
It is unbearably humid. And hot. The high was 86F outside and 77F in the house. Humidity in here has stayed between 50% & 60%. Great to sweat as I watch tv. But the AC has run all day & that helps dry the carpet.
Not heard from any friend today. Guess they are not worried how it is out here. And hate my whining & whatever.
I have several new friends. Had a family reunion last weekend that I did not make it to but I have had several from the family ask to be my friend. Very nice. And today I got a friend request & it turned out to be the daughter of my mom's cousin. And her mom babysat me when I was very little. She is planning a trip to Sweden & had some family questions. Hope we get to meet someday.
My mushroom has opened up. I avoided the humidty & got no photo today.
I sat out briefly & saw a swallow-tail kite in a tree near my yard. They never come close to my yard. Fun to see at a distance. Beautiful bird. Will share a photo. We have bluebirds too but they only sit on the pasture fence. They are gorgeous. Not see any this year.
Today is Sweden's National Day. I added a couple of photos about it ----- royal family & a flag. Also added a collage of my memories of Sweden. How I wish I could return.
Other photos are some flowers with insects on them. Lovely. And wheat how it should look.
