11 july, 2022 Wandering

    Another hot day.  Last night was 71 & today was 92.  Sort of high humidity today.  It is 55% now.  The forecast is awful.  A couple of "cooler" days then the heat returns.  For all of next week & no rain for this month.  The weather man said we are under a dome of heat.  No duh.  Alaska is sounding pretty good.  Around 11 weeks until autumn. 😍

    I had trouble sleeping last night.  I finally gave up & moved to the sofa.  Then slept good.  Both kids followed.  Nice to be popular.

    After lunch I tackled carrying trash out.  Awful.  I should have lost 20 pounds just from sweating!  Ugh.

My goal is to carry out a little daily instead of all at once in a heat wave.  I have more to take out but not today.  I am done.  Period.

    Feeling kind of sentimental today.  Lots of thoughts of Willie.  I miss him & I miss the things we used to do.  I am no longer invited anywhere for any reason.  Sometimes a coffee date but pretty rare.  I have either something wrong with me or am being punished for doing something wrong.  Does not matter.  The result is the same.

    I had 2 birdies under my carport roof last night.  Very cool.  Last year I was out on the porch just has they were leaving in the morning.  One flew over to the other one.  And sat there.  Then both flew off together.  Sweet.

    Still have a runny nose & sneezing.  Irritating.  There was a birthday party for one of my great grandsons yesterday.  I stayed home not wanting to share it.  Plus the heat & humidity makes me sick.  It was in the park.  Maybe next year.  Read today the park is full of mosquitos.  Great.

    I heard a loud piece of equipment near my yard but it was too hot to walk out to check it out.  Drove Nico crazy.  Surely my nephew doing something.

    Had joyful news tonight.  Another new strain of Covid is out.  Will hit this fall.  Shots so far will not totally protect you.  Another shot is being worked on.  It just never ends.
