Oh, what a weather day!! And not the worst. That is not here yet!! It was 101F at my farm today. A friend had a photo from his car of 108F. Yikes. At least the humidity was low. But only today. Life is not fun under the dome of heat.
The tv showed the map of where the drought is in Kansas. We are not in it today. Western half of KS are the lucky people. 😕 But they said in 10 days there will be a big change. Wonderful. Not in a good way.
I actually slept pretty good last night. Very nice. And I took no nap today. I just took a short rest.
I thought about how I could wash my hair in my bathroom sink. Still no water heater. I have a long towel that I laid around it with a large plastic jug that had cat food in it for water. Perfect! Does it look as good as when HP does it? No even close but better than it was. But I might use a curling iron tomorrow. I can stay home & not try to get an appointment anywhere. Even HP is always full.
About a week ago I wrote my blog & voiced how I felt about something. More like I just stated the facts about something. Someone that I have never been close friends with, who does not even live anywhere near here decided to take it personally & made a not so nice comment. I will call them Z. It came out of the blue & has bothered me ever since. Trying to figure out why they were insulted. I was polite back but sort of not sure what to say. If we were best buds or something I might have understood. Sure made me feel bad inside. And bottom line this. It is MY blog not Z's. If I cannot voice my opinion, keep yours quiet also.
Not much going on out here. A friend was working his wheat ground across the road. And, oh for the dust!! No rain forecast. 😢
Today would have been my special best friend John's birthday plus it is Bastille Day in France. Many years ago John was in Paris France on Bastille Day. And they had a huge fireworks show. John was sure it was for his birthday! I hope he has fireworks today or can float to Paris! 💖💗
