Nice quiet day. Slept good & still had a nice nap with Nico. Kisse takes over the bed when no one is back there. But when the TV gets quiet she makes her way to sleep near us
I am not sure what has happened, but this last week I can honestly say I felt at peace & even happy. And with less pain & stress.
Part of my good feelings is having RG here. Nice to have someone who wants to see me, lunch with me, & wants to sit & talk. And not one word about sports & very few about politics. We talk about life, movies, books, art. I like it. He plays a major part in my good feelings. If he just lived here. He would like that.
Also I have struggled for probably a couple of years with a situation that had no solution. Well it had a solution that I did not want. I was hoping, wanting to fit in with a "tribe" of people. I knew I never would but it frustrated me to no end. It would hurt to read about all their activities & fun. Well, it was sort of taken out of my hands. I made an error & no amount of explaining or apologising made a difference. Things happen for a reason. I grew up & just stopped caring. I never meant to hurt anyone but I was also hurting myself for a long, long time. I think the angels/spirits/or whatever arranged it to happen. And I now feel at peace. My life is ok as it is. I am happy & at peace. No more wanting what is not mine to have.
Great weather. It was 62F last night & 84F for the high. Plus we had a couple of strong showers yesterday. I had a total of 3 inches of rain. That is awesome! It was needed! No more rain for another week. But no dome of heat either. Hope it stays this way.
Cinder is missing or sleeping somewhere. Black kitty is here. I finally fed him a little. I think he lays on the porch during the day.
Photos today are some I have altered. Amazing how old a few are!!! The Swedish one says "Shall we take a fika. Of course!"
