Slept pretty good last night even without a pill. Try to take a break from them when I can. Cinder went out early & stayed out most of the day. It was nice weather. She came in briefly now just for a snack.
I had no plans today. And today I did not care. After a busy wednesday resting was nice.
My nephew started cutting wheat for real. And friends were cutting across the road from my house.
I sat out with my fur kids. Love the sound of combines & watching them cut & empty their wheat. There were several semis that drove by too.
The weather was great tonight. Sat out for a long time. I hoped maybe Nico would be ok then. Boy was I wrong. He was totally out of control. Next time I am home I am putting him in the hallway. And shutting the bedroom door. See if that helps. He tore up a box tonite. There was no need to do that. He won't mind what I say & only bites me. I may need to have a visit with our vet. I just cannot live like this. Now he is fine. Sleeping on the sofa by me. But his first reaction to anything is to bite & nite hard. Why?
Today I heard a Bobwhite quail so near my house. Cool. He was so loud! Wish I could have seen him. And an oriole. He was loud also. Nice to be out with a nice breeze & no bugs. I think most millers are gone but there are other ones to take their place.
My nephew now has 2 cute goats on their farm! Their daughter even invited me to come see them. How fun!!!
There is strong storms to the west. It can stay there until after harvest. Chance of rain for the next 3 days. Sunday is Father's Day but no father in my life. No celebration here.
Photos today are from Willie's last harvest. Makes me a bit teary & then my bite hurts bad so I cry more.
