Sort of a nothing day, Slept poorly. That is my normal. Got up early to pick up groceries. Good to have more food here. And some new things to try. I have such a poor appetite. But it helps not to overeat. Good to lose weight. Even if no one notices.
Temperature-wise not too hot but the humidity is a killer. Even the house is sticky inside. I had some packages delivered & I sat outside to sort through them without Nico being a pest. I got soaking wet. Hate it! Tomorrow is worse. We are to be over 100F. But everyday is a day closer to autumn. And winter!
Nico is fun to watch with his blanket. While turning in a circle, he is rearranging with his front feet & picking parts of it up with his mouth.
Cinder came in late night to snuggle in bed with me. I needed some snuggles. Made me feel better inside.
And again little contact with the outside world. Couple of texts from grandsons. One from my brother. Pretty quiet. It is fun to be in contact with friends in other countries. Even have a new friend in Sweden! Love friends in Sweden. I get to see it in photos. I would love to be there again.
Photos today are of cocktails. I would love to have a friend to go out with for a drink or two & conversation. Used to have a friend that was a bartender. Fun to go & just sit while he worked. Those days are over. Dang. Oh well. Time moves on.
