National Queso Day
Today's Name Day is Elise, Lisa
What a great day!! The morning started with a friend texting me saying he had a box or two of infor/photos/whatever about people connected to the Old Mill that I work at. I told him they would love it all & to bring it in after lunch while I am at work.
The box of stuff is a treasure trove. Photos of some of the original owners & workers. There was a book of all the recipes for the flours we used to make. Never had those before. A treasure for sure. What fun. And there is more coming.
I am working on a new book of photos. Main Street photos. Found one from 1878. Awesome! All old photos in this book.
Before work I stopped in at Jalisco's to get a soda to take to work And MM, his girlfriend KW, & my youngest great grandson were in there. My little one SM gave me a hug & said "I love you!" Made my day. Here is his photo later in the day.
JR & I had supper at Jalisco's. They were busy. And the one worker came in on his day off. He is a fave of mine so I was glad to see him. And I got a couple of hugs from him also! I remember when he was in Mexico he found a lady who spoke some English & he would call me every week or so, with her help. No idea why, but I will never forget him.
Great weather. Cool nights, 80s during the day. Maybe rain tomorrow. I hope. Next week cooler yet they say. Loving our weather. Helps us all feel better.
Photos are from today. All are mine.
