National Short Girl Appreciation Day
Today's Name Day is Tomas
Great day. Slept pretty good. So did Nico. He had me worried yesterday but seems like usual today. I am so stressed.
Hair appointment today. Missed my last one. Hair got too long. In my eyes. So color & cut today. And he styled it a little different, Like it better this way. Cool!
While at my appointment it started to rain. So nice! Had to use my wipers on the way home. Still some rain coming down. Be over tonite. Maybe snow on Christmas Day. Not holding my breath.
Now that it is the first day of Winter, oh how people are counting down how soon spring will be here. They have winter over already, I never dare to hope for a winter I love. Just hopeless. And trust me, the summer lovers could not care less. Only summer, heat, & sun matters.
Stopped at Hickory Hut BBQ to get meat for supper. Too good for words. So yummy. Nico could smell it when I got home. And he was on a mission to find it!!
Trying to catch up on my soaps now. One I am up to date on. The other one 3 days late. And not seen Willie Nelson. It will keep.
It is truly far too warm now. Last night it was 50F. Good grief!! Too warm to sleep. Night before it was 40. Where oh where is winter??? Just normal temps.
Christmas for JR & I is just to find someplace open to eat supper in. Nothing open in Lindsborg & few places in Salina. Most of the time we just drove all over until we found something open. But since China is open in Lindsborg I think they may be open. I will stop & ask when in town tomorrow. That would be perfect. No driving out of town. Great food & great service.
