Today's Name Day: Frideborg, Fridolf

    Having a quiet day.  Slept good.  Cinder was doing her crying to go out & then back in 5 minutes later last night.  She never went anywhere, just down by the car.  I finally decided enough was enough.  It was far too cold with high winds for her to be out,  She finally adjusted,  Then we snuggled until morning.  Let her out after lunch & she stayed out a while.

    It got so cold last night.  I saw  2F.  Winds were around 40 mph gusts.  My water did not freeze.  Whew.  There was a discussion on FB about whether to leave your water dripping or not.  I have lived out in the boonies for 50 years & never had any problem leaving our water dripping.  And trying to live without water is just awful.  I just ignored.  I will do what I think is right.  

    We did get a bit of snow overnight.  Maybe an inch.  Snow forecast again for sunday & monday.  I think the low that day is -9F & the high in 2F.  Probably stay home.  No sense to go out & dare fate to hurt my car.

    Tomorrow is an "important" football game.  You could not pay me to go in the intense cold forecast.  Nothing is that important to me.  And adding insult to injury, the game is only streamed on Peacock.  Oh, the anger!  Cheaper than a ticket to go there.  I just chuckle.  No sympathy from me.

    Mostly only heard from MM.  He is trying to work in the snow.  Not going well.  CF is in Texas.  No snow or cold there.

    Thought about taking a nap but never did.  Hard to sleep at night.  I ache everywhere.  Nothing helps.  Very frustrating.  And both hands are very painful.  Hard to do anything.
