National Bittersweet Chocolate Day
Today's Name Day is: Sigbritt, Sigurd
Another slow day at home. That is ok. Roads are still not good. People keep asking on FB how this road or that are today. The most common answer is "stay home". Bet they don't though. Trash never made it yesterday. I called that right. Missed me the last two times now.
My drive got cleared this afternoon & my porched cleared of snow/ice. Safer to walk outside.
Cinder was in most of the day. She has learned something new. Instead of just crying to just go out now she does when she is hungry. Nice begged a lot & so got in on that. She woke me at 9am to eat. Then back to bed.
I even took a nap today. Both cats were in the house hiding & napping. I missed having Nico snuggle with me on the sofa. But no tears.
Stayed sort of cool today but really cold overnight. In the low teens. Snow starts thursday night & on the friday. With winds. Sunday turns super cold. There will be highs in the single digits. Wind chill in the minus 20s. I have a dr. appt in Wichita on monday. Not drivin for 2 hours in the cold of weather. No one to help if I have trouble. Or it would really cut into their work. Very difficult to have no one anymore who can drive to help me.
Photos are wintry ones. Maybe get local ones tomorrow when out to eat.
