Today is celebrating me being awake all night. And what I did.
Today's Name Day: Åsa, Åslög
Sleep would be awesome. Awake all night. I hate to take a pill when I am groggy as it is, but I night have to. I felt sleepy but no matter how quietly I laid sleep never came. I finally gave up & got up. I managed a 2.5 hour nap after lunch.
Cinder came in at naptime. She likes to nap in here. And stayed in long after I woke up. I like having her in here.
Weather was ok, Our low was 60 & our high was 87. Plus low humidity. Have a slight chance of showers sunday night, Ha. Not holding my breath.
I have had a foam mattress topper on my bed that became twisted & folded. Very uncomfortable. I ordered a futon floor mattress that I just put on my present mattress. A flat bed!!! Heaven!! But too much work. Yikes!! But it was worth it. Would have been nice to have someone to help but when you live alone there are no helpers in the house. I hate to bother anyone. They have more important things to do than anything I need,
My water meter got accidently broken after my water leak was fixed. A worker came here & was beyond pissy. He almost accused me & my fixer that we broke it on purpose. He was unpleasant. I will not answer the door for him again. He said he would have to put in a new meter. But that is his job. His attitude really has bothered me. I started to cry today over him. What a jerk. Needs to learn how to state the. facts with respect & no accusations. We are decent people who would not do anything like he accused me of doing.
Every day I have things I want to do but never can. Too weak. Too much pain. Really bothers me.
I got a photo of one great grandson & my grand puppy. Made my day.
I have a sort of short video chat with JS. He had built a nice sleeping box for his 2 cats. But they prefer a cardboard box!! Of course. They were both sitting in it together but I missed that photo. But did get photos of them.
How surprised I am. I am wanting something to eat that is not from my freezer. A friend from out of state said he would find someone to call here to bring me a burger & fries, A friend here I have not met offered to go get me something to eat. They renewed my belief in people again. But I was already cooking so maybe another day. They warmed my heart!!! 💗
Hoping tomorrow is better for me. Maybe I should order some groceries & drive to pick them up. Maybe try Lindsborg again. Or maybe wait another day.
