Had a good day. Mostly. Slept well. No major pains. That won't last! I wish!
Worked at the SVAFC today. There were people in & out. Lots of workers of the gallery. It is a new show today. The art of 2 art teachers at a community college in Garden City KS. One does paintings. The other ceramics. There are two paintings I really love. One is sort of a collage of smaller paintings on a large canvas, The other is a large canvas that is split & partially pulled apart. There is one huge ceramic one that is 3 pieces with 2 pieces on top of the other one. They are balanced on top of each other. Makes me terribley nervous. I hate to even breathe near it. Won't say more.
My blood sugars continue leave me clueless. They were ok at bed time last night. I only ate a slice of ham before bed. This morning I was very high again. High again after lunch. Then 2 hours after that I was super low. Time to leave work, I could barely walk but taking gluscose tabs the entire time. Why??? Got to supper & I was still shaking. Eating did help but just did not feel normal.
Supper was at Jalisco's. I had MA get me a horchata as soon as I got there. It sounded good. My taquitos tasted good. The cook even prepared them as I requested. He better!! He calls me Tia so that makes him my sobrino!!!
The newest helper is a really nice lady, MS. Last night she asked where I worked. I explained. But today I had some photos for her to look at. I asked about her children, Her youngest is the same age as my oldest great grandson, Have to see if they are in the same class! We are now friends on FB. Nice.
Today at the Old Mill was kids day. There were around 500 kids present from many schools & home schooled. Saw videos of them playing with goats, llamas, dancing a Swedish dance, singing, drawing, touring inside the Mill, & more. Tomorrow it is Millfest for adults. The Mill is turned on while tours are given. Watching it run makes me think of my Grandpa Ted working there. Wonder if he is watching from above?? I hope!
I took a short nap when I got home. When I got up I checked my blood sugar. It is good. Check again before going to bed. See how it is.
KN mowed my yard today. Sure looks better. He fixed my trash bins. Trash goes out tomorrow. He is the best. His son likes to mow for me but still in school with busy weekends.
