Today's Name Day: Gerhard, Gert
My one great uncle had a middle name of Gerhard. Have a friend in Sweden who is named Gert. Maybe middle name is Anne.
Sorry for no blog last night. I was hurt emotionally after supper. Took me by surprise. Family info I had no business knowing. And told how someone was thrilled about my not being family anymore. I am sure I will survive & calm down. But for now I have cut someone out of my life for a few days.
Then last night a friend & almost family texted me many times. Nothing important. Me & my heart needed to be cared for. He was perfect.
Had lunch at the Öl Stuga. MM was bartending. I got to meet one bartender I knew of & one who is new, Both very nice. Good time.
I worked at the Old Mill in the afternoon. I kept busy. And the three of us working were silly a few times. Best coworkers!!!
Supper was at Jalisco's. So good to see everyone. I had been gone for so long the one kitchen help did not even see me! But he when he did we talked. Supper was good. I had carnitas. Excellent. Then ice cream at the Barnyard Creamery.
Then there I got slammed. Info about my parents I had no clue about. No idea how they felt about me back then. And the truth of someone else how he felt about me. All painful. Being made fun of & no apology. FML.
At home in tears a good friend started texting me. Not saying anything special. He is going out of state until next week and just texting. He is such a good person. I am always surprised when someone likes/loves me. He feels like family to me. Maybe he will miss me also. But just some non-important texts healed my heart. I told him today. 💓
MM is going to help me with several projects. Supposedly we are not related by blood but he is much better than local aunts/cousins/etc. There is one project he is doing to make sure I don't get charged many hundreds of dollars again over something being done wrong. I do not care who gets upset. If you cared at all it would have taken care of weeks ago. My bedroom window is getting fixed & boxes will be moved. No charge to me.
No rain forecast for here until October. Then some is coming. Until then temps around 80. October temps in the 70s,
Autumn is here. I keep my AC set at a certain temp. But it is now too cool. I was so chilled last night. I can tell when Kisse is cold also. I set the temp warmer. Her napping photo shows she is comfy today.
Had to delay my Great Bend trip for a few days. No problem.
