10/2025 - Viernes the 10th - MY JOURNEY

This is a day late. But wanted to share.

Today's Name Day: Harriet, Harry

Had a sweet lady named Harriet who we sat in church with. Mom had worked with her in the late 1930s at the local bakery.

Willie's brother was Harry. I went to school with a Harry. And of course there is Prince Harry.

Much much better day!!!! Hard to believe!!!! 😀 I slept good all night.

I was so scared to eat to day. So I chose a tiny meal of 2 thin slices of ham & some bread. No more. And I was shocked when I never felt sick. Wow!!!

I took a nice nap but shorter than I had been resting. Supper was a small serving of Mac & cheese. It was sooo good. Then my BS got low so I had a few malt balls. So far so good.

Yesterday after my nap I went to the bathroom. Walking back in the hallway I saw this on my bed.

They never curl up together. Glad I got a photo. They both have been sleeping on my bed while I have been sick. Even if I get up Cinder stays on the bed & lays close next to me. She knows.

Several texts from MM & CW checking on me. Plus LL checked a couple of times also. CF has not asked how I am. Someone else I had to text first. Shows me who cares.

My co worker was interviewed by a local TV channel 12 & he talked about our Swedish Pavilion at the Old Mill. It was a wonderful interview. Glad I saw it. Wrote to him right away. We had a nice visit then. Missing him. He is a blessing to have at the Old Mill.

Staying home tomorrow. Supposed to eat out but don't dare to eat out yet. I am still quite weak & dizzy. Getting better though.

Weather was too warm. And warmer tomorrow. Too warm for autumn. Then cooler sunday afternoon & rain. But the weather man gets all giddy when he can report warmer mid next week. Back in the 80s again. Ick. I belong to a group who dislike summer & they all say their weather men are they same. So joyful for hot, dry, & buggy. What is wrong with them. But then more cooler weather comes again. Hopefully.
