Although it might be confusing, Hug a Bear Day isn’t about the big fuzzy beasts that roam the forests munching on nuts and berries and once a year or so busting out the fishing skills to scoop up salmon from the teeming rivers! Hugging one of those could, in fact, be very dangerous and lead to a very bad day.
This day is, instead, about our favorite fuzzy knights of Yore, sometimes called by the name “Teddy”. They are big and fuzzy and warm, they watch over children (and, perhaps, some adults) at night while keeping the monsters in the closet and under the bed at bay.
Today's Name Day: Ingegerd, Ingela
Known, or friends with, or related to several Angelas.
Another not so wonderful day. Sickly tummy all night & today. Worse overnight. Some better during the day. Cannot go out in public with the symptoms I have.
Got a bit warmer today but tomorrow is much cooler. But wait until sunday!!! Highs in the 30s & lows around 19 or colder. I am ready!! High winds starts tomorrow. Around 40 mph. Ugh!!! Have to leave my water dripping. And just now the weatherman got all giddy over record high temps in a week or two. Hope that changes. Idiot.
MM got sick last night & back in the ER. Some better today. He & I both need to get our shit together!!!
Am I asking to much to just get to go to work & eat out with friends?? Not asking too much as far as I think???
Time change is odd. I take a nap & before my alarm goes off it is getting dark. Weird. But I like driving home after eating out in the dark.
Still debating changing doctors. Need an RA doc in Salina if possible. Too busy city for me. I hate that. I used to love going to ICT. Great places to eat & shop. But Salina has gotten much better. Need to go there when possible. Or when I have money.
Some communication today. MM, JL, CF, JR I wrote a message to JR that I am still sick & no supper. Then I forgot to send it. Duh.
ICT amazes me. I watch the news & rarely is there anything good. Shootings, stabbings, attacks, murders, etc. None of these need to be shared unless there are road closings & it is your family. Be quiet about it all.
Photos are some winter, some autumn, & Kansas Prairie photos. My drive almost looks like some fresh rocks on it. Maybe check it out tomorrow.
When they shut down the trains out here Willie grabbed this sign from our pasture.
