Today's Name Day: Asta, Tristan
The nurse in charge of the nursing school I went to was Asta. Loved her. Still friends with her son. She was a school nurse in California & one of her students was Raquel Welch. Cool.
Just a quiet day. One email, couple of photos, not much. And super warm. Low was 36F, high was 63F. No bueno. Where is winter???? Hate our weathermen who just cannot laugh enough about our heat. The entire state of Kansas will be breaking high temp records. But cold temps return next sunday.
Have had no water all day. They are working again & supposed to be done by 1pm. Hahaha. It is 5pm & no water. The cats have enough water so far, but I have none.
Had an eye doctor appointment for tomorrow, but changed it until after the holidays. I have appointment in Wichita to cancel.. Hate having KN take me. He does like driving there. And there is no one else. Need to find a doctor near me. Get old & lose your fave doctors. Not fair. Expensive to hire someone to take me.
Extra pain today & last night. Needed to carry trash out but cannot do that in pain. No one to help today. Or most days.
JR & I do have some where to eat on Christmas Eve. Rest of the holiday is nothing. Have not driven around town to look at Christmas lights. See if JR wants to or not. Can just take me alone.
Kansas has just added a new football team & maybe baseball team also. Does not affect me. Not a sports fan.
Lots of flu & colds in this area & not had my shots yet. Shot might not cover the flu this year. Put a mask in my purse for big crowds. I have a nose spray that supposedly kills viruses. And a spray for my car. I should spray in a crowded restaurant. People would love that!!! And I use lots of hand sanitizer.
