Today's Name Day: Camilla
Went to school with a Camille. And of course there is my least favorite British queen.
Today was probably the best day I have ever had!! Sure makes a difference how I feel inside.
I took myself out for lunch at the White Peacock before work. Had a Belgium waffle & iced green tea with honey. Today I worked for KS & she joined me for coffee before work. We were a couple minutes late to open & MH knew my car & unlocked thinking I had lost track of time!! When I got inside DW was there looking at our art. He is a great guy. Known him for years. Great art collector.
MH had coffee with his friend GL. MH went back home & GL came in & stayed most of the afternoon, We talked a storm up. Starting with 196os music, singers, radio stations we listened to, our friends, activities, & ending with politics. We both want to meet for coffee again & chat, I hope we do, We are not friends on FB but I asked him to one be today, He went to get himself more coffee & brought me a cup. And I drank it!! Be fun to have a friend I could actually go have coffee with. Fun.
Tons of people came in & kept me busy. On Lindsborg Now there is member who posts photos often & they are excellent. Never met him but he & his wife came in. She & I have the same exact first & middle names. We had a great visit. She is going to send me a friend request & then wants to join my blog. I hope she does! What a nice couple! And nice to know what he looks like!
A couple came in from Scandia KS. There was a family from there who had their family reunion every year in Lindsborg, And he knows them. Great family. He likes them a lot also. I have been to Scandia often, Willie used to haul grain in & out of their elevator, And I visited a church in Denmark KS. Great area,
I called JR & said I wanted to eat out so we headed to Jalisco's. AJTR had my booth ready!! He is a hoot. It was quiet when we got there & then got super busy, JR & I both had burgers & fries & flan.
Came home & sorted through the mail I had & took a very short nap. Spanish went really good, Nice, Now SNL with Colin Jost doing the cold open. He is so good!!
Hate daylight savings time. Quit moving the time around. Stupid.
