Today's Name Day: Ada, Edla
I knew an Ada. Such a sweet lady. And her husband was special. He liked my dad. I knew of an Edla but did not know her. Before my time.
Had an ok day. Slept several extra hours overnight. I was just exhausted. Better today. I did get a short nap.
Not quite as hot today. Thanks goodness. Severe storms for tonight. All missed us here. Good.
I saw the llamas near my front yard so I grabbed my iPhone & sat outside to photograph them. And share tonight. I like to call their names & then they look at me!!!
Had my historical board meeting tonight. I went to Jalisco's for supper first. They make the best hamburger & fries in town. AJTR. had my booth saved!!! 😀. We managed to chat a bit. His novia (girlfriend) was off today. So we had to try harder to understand each other. Plus I had learned something new in my Spanish lessons & I could not remember the first word. MA had time to help me. Plus he told me to ask him for help anytime. Nice. I appreciate him & his family. And the waitstaff are excellent. And always treat me like I am special. It sure makes a difference to get to use a little Spanish sometimes. Helps me remember things.
Board meeting went ok, Had an interesting program afterwards. I learned a lot about the history of my town. But it just lasted far too long. Needs to have a time limit. I finally left early. I knew my Spanish lesson was waiting for me.
Spanish lesson was ok. Made a few errors, but still ok.
OMG!!! I actually have people from Sweden read my blog & yesterday some from Danmark.
Not a happy camper here tonight. Ch 12 is no longer on DishTV. Fighting with each other. No Colbert tonight & no soaps tomorrow. Hope I can find them streaming somewhere. I hope.
