Today. was ok. Yesterday I only counted 4 kittens. Today all 6 are here & Miss Kitty. They were hungry!!!
Cooler today. Only in the 60s. Nice. Staying a bit cooler for a few days. Wish it would last all summer. Dreading the heat, humidity, & bugs. And severe weather.
Salina got hit quite hard last night. Winds of 70+mph, huge hail, damage to homes & cars. Big clean up today. Glad it missed here.
After lunch I forced myself to carry out 10 bags of trash despite having severe pain. Some were way too heavy for me to carry. Almost died. After those bags I took a nap. Cinder stayed nearby. Kisse in the bedroom. Planned to take more trash out when I woke up.
Saw no cattle outside but near supper I saw the llamas out my window. Too sore to go outside. Maybe tomorrow.
I was going to try to carry more bags of trash outside but decided I hurt far too much. If I had a volunteer or two to help I might have tried but who cares. No one offered & I refuse to beg. Either you care or you don't. Can do them next week. Maybe I will feel better.
This weekend is Mill Fest at the Old Mill. On friday they have kids from dozens of schools visiting & seeing many displays of activities. I cannot work that day. No parking. No lunch out & no work. On saturday they turn the Old Mill on ----- loud, building totally shakes, etc. No kids allowed in. Too dangerous. All the belts & gears are open to the air. They used to make flour but quit years ago. Too much work to clean up. We do sell flour from a different mill. And now our pancake mix. Wish I could get there on saturday to just sit & listen to the musical groups we have. But. Again. No parking. Cannot walk that far to get there. Always miss. Always. Maybe should hire someone to drive & pick me up when done. Might try that.
My left leg is killing me today. Knee & ankle severe pain. I put on some pain patches. Not helping. Trying what I use as pain med. Hope it helps. Not one of my doctors will give me anything for pain. Nice of them. Was better when I napped.
No cats for supper. They were awake late this afternoon. Maybe napping under the house. I got brave & picked up one kitten this noon. Not a happy camper but sooo sweet!!!
