Had a great friend for years name Glenn. Grown apart now. Miss him. Had an uncle Glen. Miss him & his wife & their son more than words can say. A cousin's first husband was an Allan. JR middle name is Allen. Known several local men with Allan as a first name. And one friend had Allen as his last name.
Today was almost a good day. Slept ok & got ready to go to work. But dropped my glasses & stepped on them & one lense fell out. JR thinks he can fix them. Bring them with me to town on friday
I decided since I would not be here to put food & water out for Miss Kitty. Went to open the front door & there stood a kitten looking at me!!! Cute. That one ran under the house but there was another one hiding on the porch! The Mom was there also. Glad I checked them first. Inside cats did not eat good so I just left it for today.
Lunch was good & did not upset my stomach. Good.
I have been posting things in Spanish & MM must have read something I wrote. He speaks fluent Spanish. Got an early text saying he loved me. Nice. Well, include me then if you love me.
Really missing my friend JS. And he called me at work when he got off work. He worries about me so he calls to check. Made my one coworker smile. He always ends our calls with "besos" which means "kiss". Nice.

Work was so-so. Everyone went upstairs to discuss stuff. Guess I was not supposed to hear or be part of it. Used to being left out. My scanner does not work at all. Scan one photo, reboot scanner, turn back on, scan another photo, & reboot again. Only matters to me. A nadie más le importa.
At some point I had somehow clicked on something I did not want. I would scan & it would save somewhere wrong. I finally figured it out. Ater I rebooted the PC & the scanner. By then I was just fed up & decided to leave early. Close to screaming & throwing stuff. A nadie más le importa.
Had a guy upstairs painting. Known him for years. Had a nice visit. And he walked me to my car. Never left my side. Nice to feel cared for.
I went to a friend's back yard to see his poppies blooming. Too windy for good photos but I got a few. I had some old photos of flowers also. And took some at the Mill. So lots of flowers today.
Supper was at Jalisco's. Fun to see my friends there. I even treated myself to a tiny serving of ice cream. Even AR came out of the kitchen to briefly chat. Nice of him.
I got into a group of people who like noir movies. JR & I had fun remembering some great movies. I have several on my list to watch again.
When I was a toddler Mom & Dad would to the driven in movies in McPherson. If the movie was Ma & Pa Kettle I could stay awake to watch. One time they had me lay down & the movie was called Laura. I was cluseless about it but the music was haunting. I watched it as an adult but need to see it again. Been a long time.
Movie was Boris Karloff's last. He was very ill. Early movie for Jack Nicholson.
