Today's Name Day: Edit, Edgar
I had a great uncle Edgar married to my great aunt Ruth who was a sister to Mom's dad. Edgar was a farmer. Sweet man. Loved their farm house. Wished I could have bought it. Ruth was an expert seamtress. She did many wonderful pieces. I have a few. Ruth and Edgar had a son a month after I was born. He had spinabifida. Back then there was no treatment. Today he would have lived. He lived only a month. So sad. Mom felt guilty having me & I was healthy.
I also have known an Edith or two.
Today was better. I was up early to go get my groceries I ordered. Hope they get me through a week without a car. I know people say to call but if they are busy working it will not help me. I just will not ask,
I ordered macaroni sallad but I cannot save it until next week. It is a treat for me now. Has deviled eggs in it. Yummy. Had some for lunch today. I even got the Oui's I ordered. I am rationing those.
It rained all last night. Both LBK & I got 0.23" inches. Not much but no storms.
Not much on TV tonight. Watching a show called Exhibition by Josh Gates Borderline scaring.. Interesting
Rain is over so kids are staying dry to Trick or Treat. We never get anyone out here. Used to when it was just family. If I want Trick or Treaters I would go sit on JR's porch.. He never partakes of these types of things. We lived in Falun for a short time after our house burned down, I had fun. Put a scary guy on my porch. Had candy for kids. I miss that. Holidays are no fun for me. If JR cares he never says anything pro or con.
Had an email this morning. Missed it yesterday. Nothing else. Just a photo or two. A friend's band is playing at the Stuga tonight but I won't go sit there alone. Why waste an entire booth on just me. Would be fun. He knows I want to be there. Oh well.
Should have went out tonight to eat but not on a holiday. Will give it up until I have a car. JR got his fave sandwich last night. Easy when you live in town. Nothing out here.
Time for spanish. It is going so-so. I work until i am tired then I stop. Just don't care.
I am done with Halloween. Need to delete all those pictures. Tired of it all.
