Buen domingo

 Simplemente hermoso clima! Genial hoy. Llovizna esta mañana. Es perfecto y puede durar hasta el invierno.

Comimos con mi hermano J en la corona sueca. Buena comida. Una de mis personas favoritas trabaja allí. Siempre le pido que sea mi camarero. Su foto fue en el periódico esta semana. Siempre una buena.

Mi hermano y yo pasamos por tantas cosas de mamá. Muchas de sus joyas. La semana pasada encontramos algunas piezas que me preocupaban. Y más hoy. Mamá tiene algunas piezas nativas americanas que nunca he visto. No tengo ni idea de dónde los compró. Ojalá pudiera preguntar.

Y toneladas de papeles hoy. Dang. Pero todos eran divertidos de encontrar. ¡Algunas cosas únicas que no esperábamos! Mamá había ahorrado una factura de luz por $ 4000 !! Apuesto a que ella murió al leerlo! Fue un error. ¡Seguro que me dio una risa!

Después de retroceder en el tiempo, J y yo teníamos un cono de nieve. Se cierran el próximo domingo para el invierno. Triste.

Good Sunday

Just beautiful weather! Cool today. Drizzle this morning. It is perfect and can last until winter.

Ate lunch with my brother J at the Swedish Crown. Good food. One of my favorite people works there. I always ask for him to be my waiter. His photo was in the newspaper this week. Always a good one.

My brother and I went through so much stuff of Mom's. Lots of her jewelry. Last week we found some pieces I was worried about. And more today. Mom has some Native American pieces I have never seen. I have no idea where she bought them. Wish I could ask.

And tons of papers today. Dang. But they were all fun to find. Some unique things we did not expect!  Mom had saved a light bill for $4000!! I bet she about died reading it! It was a mistake. Sure gave J and I a laugh!

After stepping back in time, J and I had a snow cone. They close next sunday for the winter. Sad.

Viernes sabado

El viernes fue mi grupo sueco. Siempre un buen tiempo. Tuvimos 2 invitados especiales de California. Genial para verlos. Hubo mucha conversación buena. Y una gran noticia de una clase de lengua sueca que comienza en septiembre. ¡Estoy emocionado!

Almorzamos con mi amigo J en Jalisco's. Tuve mi camarones, arroz y frijoles. Yum!

Se suponía que tendríamos fuertes lluvias hoy. Ni una gota. Ahora hay un reloj de tiempo severo para la noche. Me pregunto si conseguiremos una gota.

No puedo dormir. Dormir poco por 2 noches. Muy frustrante. Entonces soy aniquilado y debo dormir una siesta.

Todas las fotos de hoy fueron tomadas en un par de revistas que eran regalos de Suecia. Amarlos. Era simplemente el cumpleaños de nuestra princesa de corona tantas fotos de familia de ellos.

Friday & Saturday

Friday was my Swedish group. Always a good time. We had 2 special guests from California. Great to see them. There was lots of good conversation. And great news of a Swedish language class starting in september. I am excited!

Had lunch with my friend J at Jalisco's. I had my shrimp, rice, & beans. Yum!

We were suppose to have heavy rains today. Not a drop. Now there is a severe weather watch for the evening. Wonder if we will get a drop.

I cannot sleep. Little sleep for 2 nights. So frustrating. Then I am wiped out and must take a nap.

All photos today were taken in a couple of magazines that were gifts from Sweden. Love them. It was just our Crown Princess's birthday so many family photos of them.

Almuerzo divertido

Tuvimos un almuerzo divertido en Jalisco hoy. Mi hija tenía un trabajo en la entrevista y nos conocimos después. ELLA TIENE EL TRABAJO !! ¡¡Estoy tan feliz por ella!! ¡Agradable tener buenas noticias en mi vida!

Durante la última semana mi depresión ha ido empeorando. Poco a poco. No hay razón real. Creo que necesito un descanso, pero no puedo conseguir la energía para ir a ninguna parte. Tengo varios lugares a los que me gustaría ir. Cualquier lugar donde conozco a la gente está bastante lejos. Todo el mundo está demasiado ocupado para tener tiempo para mí. Odio eso, pero es la vida. Ojalá tuviera un grupo de amigos o familia para viajar con pero no esas cosas. Quizás probar algunas excursiones de un día corto. Tal vez mi estado de ánimo es sobrante de la Cúpula del calor. Lo que sea, no me gusta mi estado de ánimo.

Tiempo hermoso hoy. ¡Qué alegría salir de Jalisco y respirar! Y la lluvia se pronostica para el sábado. ¡¡Nosotros necesitabamos!! A Nico le gustaba estar afuera.

Fun Lunch

Had a fun lunch at Jalisco today. My daughter had a job in interview and we met after it. SHE GOT THE JOB!! I am so happy for her!! Nice to have some good news in my life!!!

For the last week my depression has been getting worse. Little by little. No real reason. Think I need a break but cannot get the energy to go any where. I have several places I would like to go. Any place where I know people is pretty much out. Everyone is far too busy to have time for me. I hate that but it is life. I wish I had a group of friends or family to travel with but no such things. Maybe try some short day trips. Maybe my mood is leftover from the Dome of Heat. Whatever, I am not liking my mood.

Beautiful weather today. What a joy to walk out of Jalisco and still can breathe! And rain is forecast for saturday. We needed!! Nico enjoyed being outside.

Viaje a Wichita

Mi hermano J y yo fuimos a Wichita hoy. Nosotros en el almuerzo en Felipe's. Buena comida mexicana. Nunca tan bueno como Jalisco pero cerca.

Luego tuve una cita médica con mi reumatólogo. Vio su PA en su lugar. Ella era tan agradable y
tipo. Ambos no ven ningún signo de fibromialgia. Pero una mano
Tiene algunos hinchazón y signos de artritis temprana. Ambas rodillas
Tienen artritis. Preguntó sobre la boca seca para comprobar si Sjogren
enfermedad. Haré un seguimiento de la frecuencia con la que lo tengo. Por ahora por ahora
Detener la Lyrica y ver cómo me siento. Y ella subrayó si tengo alguna
Aumento de los síntomas para llamar de inmediato. Me siento mucho mejor.

Hice un poco de compras en mi tienda de alimentos naturales. yo era
Se le dijo que comenzara en Calcio y D3. Más píldoras. Ugh.

Vino a casa entonces. Paramos en Jalisco para charlar con J por unos cuantos
minutos.

Wichita Trip

My brother J and I went to Wichita today. We at lunch at Felipe's. Good Mexican food. Never as good as Jalisco's but close.

Then I had a doctor's appointment with my Rheumatologist. Saw his PA instead. She was so nice and 
kind. They both do not see any sign of fibromyalgia. But one hand
has some swelling and signs of early arthritis. Both of my knees 
have arthritis. She asked about dry mouth to check for Sjogren's
disease. I will keep track of how often I have it. So for now will 
stop the Lyrica and see how I feel. And she stressed if I have any 
increase in symptoms to call immediately. I feel much better.

I did a little shopping at my natural health food shop. I was
told to start on Calcium and D3. More pills. Ugh.

Came home then. Stopped at Jalisco to chat with J for a few 
minutes.

Excursión corta de un día

Me llevé a comer en Burger King hoy. No es de alta clase pero bueno! Entonces estaba en mi manera a Abilene a mi farmacia para conseguir algunas recargas. Disfruto de la unidad y volver. Relajante. Y sus precios son un poco mejor. Me tratan muy bien.

Regreso a Salina a Autozone. Me cansé de esperar y dejar el coche en casa. Tenía nuevas escobillas de limpiaparabrisas. Noté que el pasajero antiguo era un poco más corto que el nuevo. Hmmm. Probablemente sólo se utiliza cualquier cosa que tenían en el pasado. ¿Qué tan grande puede tener una selección de Assaria? Aprender a cuidarme. Ya no hay elección. ¡Listo para la lluvia mañana!

Terminó la tarde en Walgreens. Están remodelando pero todavía conseguí ir de compras! Me encanta ir de compras allí.

El tiempo era agradable hoy. Mediados de los 80s. Y un poco más cálido mañana, luego un frente frío y la lluvia. Espero que llueva. Quiero decir, tengo nuevos limpiaparabrisas!

Short Day Trip

Took myself out to eat at Burger King today. Not real high class but good!!! Then I was on my way to Abilene to my pharmacy to get some refills. I enjoy the drive there and back. Relaxing. And their prices are a bit better. They treat me really good.

Back to Salina to Autozone. I got tired of waiting and leaving the car home. *I* got new wiper blades. Noticed the old passenger one was a bit shorter than the new one. Hmmm. Probably just used anything that they had in the past. How big a selection can Assaria have? Learning to take care of myself. No choice anymore. Ready for rain tomorrow!!!

Ended the afternoon at Walgreens. They are remodeling but I still managed to shop! I love shopping there.

Weather was nice today. Mid 80s. And a bit warmer tomorrow then a cold front and rain. I hope rain. I mean, I do have new wipers!
