Sick day

Having lots of shoulder pain and cancelled today. No lunch out and no soccer. Then to make matters worse, our AC is not working up to par. The house stayed at 81 today. I hurt and am miserable. Little chance of it being fixed anytime soon. 

Miserable weather here. Very hot and humid. Tiny chance of rain tonight which will just make it more humid.

Napped with my little kitten. He is hanging in there. Think he has gained a little weight. Nico is a little better towards him. Hope they learn to be friends.

Not really talked to anyone today. Just had a phone call from a close friend. Nice to visit.

Ocupado

Esta semana es un desastre. Estoy demasiado ocupado. Cuando llego a casa, me desplomo en la cama.

Tengo un pequeño gatito que estoy alimentando con un cuentagotas. El es dulce. A él le encanta recostarme. Ayer no comió tan bien, pero hoy está mucho mejor. Tomamos una siesta juntos todas las tardes. Dulce.

Ayer fui a una reunión sobre un procedimiento para tener en lugar de una cirugía de rodilla total. Me vuelvo a encontrar con el doctor la próxima semana. Tengo esperanza. Realmente no quiero otra cirugía. El tiempo dirá.

Esta noche fue mi grupo histórico. Imprimí mis minutos para leer. Los dejé en casa. Tenía platos listos para llevar galletas y queso. Los dejé en casa. Así que diseminado cerebro.

Solo estoy cansado. Una parte de mí está emocionada y la otra parte está muy deprimida. Cosas buenas pero estrés familiar. ¿Por qué no puede parar? Y querer cosas que nunca tendré. Frustrante. Especialmente viendo a los demás ser feliz. Suficiente lloriqueo.

Busy

This week is a mess. I am too busy. When I get home I collapse in bed.

I have a tiny kitten I am feeding with an eye dropper. He is sweet. He loves just laying on me. Yesterday he did not eat so good but today much better. We take a nap together every afternoon. Sweet.

Yesterday I went to a meeting on a procedure to have instead of a total knee surgery. I meet again with the doctor next week. I am hopeful. I really do not want another surgery. Time will tell.

Tonight was my historical group. I printed out my minutes to read. Left them at home. I had dishes ready to take with me for crackers and cheese. Left them at home. So scatter brained.

I am just tired. Part of me is excited and the other part is so depressed. Good things but family stress. Why can it not stop?And wanting things I will never have. Frustrating. Especially watching others be happy. Enough whining.

Sabado y domingo

Ayer comenzó el fútbol en Wichita. Nuestro equipo es FC Wichita. No es un equipo profesional todavía, pero está trabajando en ello.

Comimos en casa de Bob y Luigi primero. No había revisado su sitio web y tenían una banda tocando. Eran increíbles y me encantó escucharlos. Pero llevó una eternidad conseguir nuestra comida. Nos perdimos el comienzo del partido. Entonces me perdí tratando de encontrar el nuevo estadio. Pero todo estaba bien. Ganamos 5-0. ¡Una buena forma de comenzar la temporada!

Llegué a casa y escuché a mi gatito llorando. Encontramos 2 pero uno murió. Hoy comencé a alimentarlo con un cuentagotas. Esta tarde se acurrucó sobre mí y tomamos una siesta de 2 horas juntos. Dulce.

Comí hoy con mi hermano en Jalisco. Buena comida, buena conversación, camareros divertidos.

Esta noche fui a una fiesta de cumpleaños en el parque de la ciudad. Fue divertido. Es bueno visitar con amigos y una pareja que no veo a menudo!

Después de irme, vi que las amapolas de un amigo comenzaron a florecer. Foto de la primera! Luego vi los buitres de pavo en nuestra torre de agua. La ciudad ha intentado en vano perseguirlos. Me alegro de que la ciudad falló. me gustan

Llegué a la ciudad esta mañana y había un negocio al lado de una iglesia local que estaba cortando el césped y más. Eso es tan grosero. Ya sea que usted crea cómo cualquier iglesia cree, siempre es bueno ser respetuoso. Me entristeció

El verano está aquí. Odio las altas temperaturas y la humedad. Pero no hay forma de detenerlo. Solo tengo que encontrar una manera de sobrevivir. Difícil cuando nuestra CA no está funcionando a la par. Me he ofrecido a llamar al técnico pero no estoy autorizado. Muy frustrante

Saturday & Sunday

Yesterday soccer started in Wichita. Our team is FC Wichita. Not a pro team yet but working on it.

We ate at Bob & Luigi's first. I had not checked their website and they had a band playing. They were awesome and I loved listening to them. But it took forever to get our food. We missed the beginning of the match. Then I got lost trying to find the new stadium. But all was well. We won 5-0. Good way to start the season!

I got home and heard my kitten crying. We found 2 but one died. Today I started feeding it with an eye dropper. This afternoon he curled up on me and we took a 2 hour nap together. Sweet.

Ate today with my brother at Jalisco's. Good food, good conversation, fun waitstaff.

This evening went to a birthday party in the park in town. It was fun. Good to visit with friends and a couple I do not get to see often!

After I left I saw a friend's poppies have started blooming. Photo of the first one! Then I saw the turkey vultures on our water tower. The city has tried in vain to chase them away. Glad the city failed. I like them

Got to town this morning and there was a business that is next door to a local church that was mowing their lawn and more. That is so rude. Whether you believe how any church believes, it is always good to be respectful. It made me sad.

Summer is here. I hate hot temperatures and humidity. But no way to stop it. Just have to find a way to survive. Hard when our AC is not working up to par. I have offered to call the repairman but I am not allowed. Quite frustrating.

Hermoso clima

Difícil de imaginar, era hermoso hoy. No muy cálido, no demasiado frío. Sin viento. Perfecto.

Tenía mi grupo sueco. Buena conversación y música. Y una deliciosa comida. Torta fácil de hacer y lo haré. Mezcla de tarta de chocolate, lata de relleno de tarta de cereza y 2 huevos. Mmmm.

Almuerzo en Jalisco. Ayuda amistosa, buena comida. Almuerzo agradable.

Parece que casi a diario tengo nuevos síntomas. Comenzando a tener problemas para tragar. Y ayer caminé y tejí como si estuviera borracho. Ojalá hubiera sido. Oh bien. Cosas menores

Añadimos a nuestra "familia" esta noche. Encontré 2 pequeños gatitos y sin madre. Uno nuestro cobertizo, uno en un árbol. Estoy seguro de que morirán, pero quizás no. Tan dulce. Espero que vivan y se queden aquí. Desearía que la madre todavía estuviera aquí. Nico es todo curioso. Pero no confío en él.

La flor de lavanda es la última de este año. Los extraño mucho cuando dejan de florecer. Ellos son mi flor favorita
