Wandering, 09 december 2021

Home alone today.  Just mostly quiet.  Short nap.  Hard to sleep my mind was working overtime.  No reason why.  I was thinking of things I should just forget.  And the holidays do not help.  Lost too many people during this time.  One friend at Thanksgiving, another on New Years, Mom died on Christmas Eve.  Just a difficult time.

It was in the 20s last night and today in the 60s.  Cold front hits tomorrow afternoon and then colder.  Next week warmer again.  The cold front has snow in Colorado and Nebraska.  But they keep talking about this huge storm.  I think the weathermen are so tired of nothing but warm weather they are making all the can over snow elsewhere.  WE might have a flake or two here. H.A.

It is so nice to smell no propane in the house.  And no worries if or when I will again.  My furnace came on right away when I turned it back on.

I froze last night.  Nico refused to move so I grabbed a second blanket just for me.  Later I got up and turned the heat up one degree and spread my blanket out.  Then all was well.

I worked on genealogy last night.  I was in the MacLean clan in Scotland.  Even though we are many hundreds of years apart, I am proud that they are part of me.  I do believe our ancestors are still apart of us.  And I am sure others think I am stupid.  Too bad.  They are an interesting family.

I finally got my hair washed.  I used no foam or gel to set it with so it feels softer.  See how bad it looks tomorrow.  I have all day to repair the damage!

In town there are cars with Christmas lights driving around, sometimes blasting carols!  I have not seen one yet, but I am not there often.  Hope I can borrow a photo from my brother.  I think he might be uptown tonight hoping to see them.

Yesterday the area where I live had 2 earthquakes!!  One very early morning that I slept through.  I guess it really shook homes and was loud.  How did I do that?  The second was while I was at work.  We did not feel a thing.  Strange that my area is having them so often.  We have had around 10 recently.

Photos today are Christmas ones and the last 2 are mine.
