It was a nice day until around 4pm. The cold front hit! Strong north winds. And dropping temps. It was not too bad out before I went to town and I thought I would not need a jacket. What a fool!! I put on an extra layer. Good move!! I had to get gas and I almost froze to death, extra layer or not!! On the bright side, fuel was only $2.99.
The temp here was 53F around 2pm. Now at 830pm it is 19F. Brrrr.
Of course, with the big snow storm here (hahaha) there is not a flake. Nor will there be. I have friends in Rapid City SD and the photos they shared are gorgeous. The landscape there is gorgeous and now with snow ---- I am so jealous. I need a road trip there. But have no plans to go anywhere with Covid surging again.
Speaking of Covid, last weekend when I worked next door to Jalisco's I ordered a flan and drink to go. I was waiting to pay. And this dumb lady and she stood so close to me we could have been dancing. I should have told her to back off. Even though she finally figured out I was waiting to pay, not just hogging the desk.
JR and I ate at Jalisco's tonight. With our friend PM. A good time and good food. And JS and MA were friendly and joking with me. Make me feel good!
My fur kids are acting so weird. Nico rarely is nice to Kisse. The last few days they are best buddies!! While putting on my makeup today they were both on the bed in the sunshine and they snuggled, licked each other. Like they are best buds. I like it and hope it lasts. Maybe Kisse will actually sleep in bed with us!!! Not just walk over me to get the window.
Photos are Christmas themes again. Most of them. The church is my church when I went to church. My great great grandparents were founding members. The photo with the bush was taken today. You can see it bending in the wind.
