06 april, 2022 Wandering

    Today was an awful day that never got better.  Well, a little better.  I did not think the blowout last night on my way home.  I never felt upset.  The car drove normal until I got the warning and stopped.  But I must have been upset at least inside.    

    I slept not one wink last night.   None.  Nothing helped.  I finally gave up at 10am.  Ate lunch then.  Laid down again at 1pm.  Another joke.  No sleep.  Hope tonight is better.

    I cancelled all of today.  I hate driving with my spare tire.  Really makes me nervous.  My nephew rescued me last night.  He tried to air up my tire at his house but it is ruined.  So odd.  It had been fine and no problem with it.  Then suddenly it has no air.

    My new tire arrives tomorrow and when KN can get it when they call and put it on my car.  Not decided if I will go out to eat tomorrow or not.  Depends on my sleeping tonight.

    High winds today.  East of Denver they had a 116mph winds.  It blew a semi over and all other semis stopped.  You would not have to ask me twice.  I have been in a semi in bad weather/mud/etc.  Scary.

    Had a big fire south of Eldorado today.  Luckily only pasture land.  No one or any homes were touched.  Oklahoma has a huge fire of thousands of acres.  We have lost are tornados and gained fires and wind.  Maybe better, maybe not.  And it gives me something to write about instead of just my whining.

    While watching the news tonight there was suddenly a huge fire near the studio at the Coleman factory.  It looked massive.  Many fire trucks and no one dared get near.  There were constant explosions.  It was a truck with propane canisters loaded that somehow caught fire.  No one was hurt and they managed it better than I thought they would!

    Kansas has brought in many fire departments from nearby states to just be here in case of a dire emergency.  Smart thinking.

    I shared more than I usually do on FB and hardly anyone noticed.  Makes me want to quit but I have friends in other countries I keep in touch with.  And a near neighbour likes many things I post.  Oh well.  Such is life.  But I will share things I like.  Ignore away all!

    Photos are recent ones in the last couple of years.  The photo with 2 photos were taken a day apart.  Big change.  I need to feed the birds again.  I miss seeing them.
