Finally my house got warm inside. Got chilly last night but warmed up today. Had the room heater on when I took a nap. Woke up almost sweaty!! Still warm in here now. Great!
This morning it was cloudy and chilly. No cows near my home. The trees and prairie grasses were calm. The pond looked dark and still. After supper birds were singing & flying around. Few cattle here but the grasses are green and still. Mostly blue skies with a few clouds.
JR & PM had supper with me. It was quite quiet in Jalisco's tonight. But a few take out meals. I greeted the new guy, ET, in Spanish and he understood. That is cool for me. Only one sentence but it sure made me feel good!
On my Spanish site, they have stories you can read. A couple of days ago I guess I am good enough I can take part in the conversation. That is fun! Most of the characters sound very young & funny. Last nite they used MA's first name and the one girl said he was "muy bonito". I had to tell him tonight I liked it!
I am in total shock. I picked up medications & it was the cheapest I have ever paid. They say I have a discount card that they use and it must work What a pleasant surprise. But when I saw the price of fuel & I almost needed an ambulance. It has gone up twenty cents. Yikes!! Glad I filled a couple of days ago.
PM & were in school together. He is a couple of years older than me. I love remembering those from the past. We are good gossipers of past things!!
Tonight Nico & I sat outside for a while. Nice to relax in the fresh air. Cinder kept trying to come to me but Nico would not let that happen. Will sit out alone tomorrow.
Today at the Old Mill was a festival called Millfest. They turn the Mill on. No one under 16 can enter then. It is too dangerous. All the belts are out in the open. And there are many people around the grounds showing their goods & how they are made. There was a food truck for lunch. Today is kids day. School buses from all around the area are there. I cannot count how many were there. Very cool. I think it costs to take the tour but nothing else.
