12 may, 2022 Wandering

    Had a nice day.  Went to Wichita to see my RA specialist, whom I just love.  She is so kind and takes time with me.  And we both have red hair!!

    My trip there was fine.  Not much traffic but there was a closed road.  That was no problem.  Never went far out of my way.  The office was pretty busy.  My check up was good.  My shoulder pains are not RA.  Most likely rotator cuff problems.  Possible a torn muscle.  And for some odd reason rotator cuff problems are worse at night.  I can wake in the middle of the night not laying on my arm but having severe pain.  My thumb pains & my fingers changing sizes are not RA.  My back is a whole other problem.  Next step is therapy.  Ick.  I will do my old back exercises.  No therapy.  I may go to a chiropractor.  Will see.

    After my appointment I went to Spangles for a Pepse and got an ice cream sandwich.  I left most of the cookies but ate the ice cream.  Nico got the leftovers.  He did not refuse!  From my parking place I saw a place across the street called Clouds.  I looked it up.  It is a Daiquiri bar.  Well, poor choice on my part!!! Next time I will check it out!!

    I went out of Wichita a different way.  Yikes!!  Some road work on the interstate and a million cars with half of them wanting an off route.  What a mess.  Would be ok going to my office but won't go home that road again.  Done it before and forgot!!

    On the way home JS video chatted with me.  I pulled over to answer.  He was making sure I was ok  Nice to be cared for.  And it is his birthday today.  I sent him online wishes and nice to get to tell him.  i have gifts ordered.  Taking longer than normal to get here.

    JR texted me and said that Nico had called him to tell me to hurry home.  Thank the lord there is no such thing.  He would call me constantly!!

    Home now and had supper.  Zipped through a spanish lesson and a spanish story.  Love the stories!  The are funny.

    We got up to 90s and strong winds.  NW Kansas just had a dust warning.  Thunderstorms just west and north of me here.  We probably will get nada.  Hope it gets cooler.  The heat makes me feel ill.  Wichita was cooler.  Driving home it kept getting hotter the further north I went.  Ugh.
