Another hot, humid day. Humidity stayed around 60% or a bit less. Our high was 94F. TV weather forecast over 10oF. Guess I will take 90s. I sat out a short time with Nico. He loves laying in the sun & I hate to deprive him. The longer I sat there the worse I felt. The heat & humidity really does make me feel sick Very hot again tomorrow.
And wind!!!! I got home to extremely high winds. It blew one trash bin over. And it blew open my outside front door. And now it is bent a bit. It was a really strong east wind. Now it is much calmer. Cinder was in hiding somewhere. She appeared at supper time. But not her black buddy. Too hot to travel!
Made it to Jalisco's for lunch. It was really dead in town when we got there. All partied out from Midsummers? But Jalisco's got busy by the time we went home.
There were clouds this morning & they kept saying there was rain coming. Not a drop that I could see. The radar was really puny looking. Need no more rain. I hate hot weather but good to be hot & get harvest over. Our sad, short & stubby wheat.
Photos are some local ones. The statue is of our college founder, Carl Aaron Swensson. And he wore a mask during the pandemic. The tower is our new cellphone tower. Took one of my brother next to it so you can get an idea of how huge it is. The last one of the rocks was in my memories copied from a few years ago in FB. It is in San Francisco. Our town should have one. Cool idea. We do have decorated rocks appear in places. You can keep or move to another location.
