05 december, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

International Volunteer Day
I volunteer at 2 places & there is a third one I go to if they call.   I am so proud to be a volunteer & love doing it!! 💚

Name Day is Sven

Had a pretty good day but an awful night.   I was awake until 6am.   Not even Nico's fault.   Just me.   Nico did keep me awake in the morning.   Went back to bed after lunch and the 4 of us slept good.
It was warmer last night & today,   Today was nice,   Our pond was finally beautiful & sparkling.   I tried to photograph it & it was so-so.   I had geese that flew over my farm.   Cool to hear them.   When Dad had died & as they took his coffin out of the ambulance at the cemetery a flock of geese flew over us.   All silent, just could her their wings.   Maybe they were escorting him to heaven.   It was breathtaking.
Later in the afternoon there were 3 helicopters that  flew near my farm.   Maybe heading to the bomb range that is near here.
Supper tonight was at the Crown & Rye.   JR & I both had Swedish pancakes.   I eat mine as the Swedes do.   He eats his like an American.   Dad & I ate ours the same.   I can make mine with no recipe.   Just from watching Mom make them.   One of my favorite Swedish foods.
After supper we got ice cream at Dollar General.   Good ending to the meal.
Nico has been almost out of treats.   And he does not like the ones left.   But his favorite ones came in the mail today.   Thank goodness!!!
Warm & windy tomorrow.   I now ignore their snow comments.   They are clueless.   What happens, happens.
Photos today are Christmas like.   I created one.   There is an AI one of me in a European Christmas Market.   Very cool.   Wish we had them here.
