National Popcorn Day

Today's Name Day: Henrik, Henry

    Cold & quiet day.  Cinder has begged to go out, but strong winds & very low feels like temps,  under zero.  I walked down the hallway just a minute ago & both cats were in the bedroom.  Kisse had the bed all to hereself.  Looked like a queen curled up there.  Cinder was in the bedroom somewhere I could not see from the hallway.

    I slept ok last night.  Much less pain since the front is here.  Makes sleep better.  But Cinder did not cuddle last night.  Kisse did for a while.  Wish she did that more often.

    Got down to 0F last night.  I think the 40mph wind hit my back door head on & blew under it.  The back of my house was so cold.  Kept the second blanket on my bed,  The wind caused drifting & closed roads.  I had an eye app't today but cancelled it.  Glad I did.  The road I take to the highway was drifted with cars stuck in them.  What weather!!!  Tomorrow is the last frigid day, they s ay.

    My grandson MMis almost back in town.  But only for 2 days.  I sure miss him.  Maybe his next weekend home I can see him & the boys.  My other grandson never gets back here.  They had planned to be here for Christmas but the weather stopped that plan.  They are in Texas where there is a little ice & freezing,

    I have not even opened the front door today.  Maybe won't.  Door opens & Cinder gets all excited that she can go out.  She must stay in until sunday.  Then temps near 40.  I won't worry so much.

    Photos today are all of gnomes.  I love gnomes.  I have a huge book about them.  I should take it out & read again.  They are just so cool.
