Sweden's National Day!
Had a great day today. Slept ok, sort of. Got my V8 power drink to give me energy. Peach mango flavor. Very good!! Never got drowsy once. Maybe need to drink one every noon. No more naps then! Will try that. Hope it works.
Both my cats were weird this morning. I got up & Cinder stayed in bed. She never does that. Then she walked out while I had lunch, curled up on a tall box both cats like & stayed there. She never asked to go out. Huh??? When I went to work she never moved. I even forgot something I had to drive back for & she never moved. Tonight she was ready to go out. Odd.
At work we recieved 6 boxes of photos from the past. None are sorted so sometimes in amongst sort of boring photos something awesome shows up!! I gave up on the unidentified men photos & now working on photos of our local nursing home. One photo is from 1928 when there were additions added. Another from 1911 of the first 11 residents who moved in. Awesome! And a group of people dressed up for a play for the 75th anniversary. What a fun afternoon!! Going to be hard to stay away!!!
Supper was Mexican, but I had already had Mexican for lunch. I settled for a hot dog & fries. With a tropical sno cone for dessert. Then groceries. I was out of everything. Tired of peanut butter & jelly. Time to get ambitious & order from Dillon's. That damn flu that lasted for 2 weeks when I could barely eat has really done an awful job on me. I am finally feeling better & almost normal. Much less pain, but still depressed & feeling so alone. And losing things I love ---- travel, Vegas, family in Denver, Sweden. I doubt I will recover any of those. I have lost them forever. No one to help me or go with me. Just alone. Oh well.
Harvest has started in earnest today. I saw combines moving on the way to work today. My niece texted me with photos of them leaving the yard. I hope I can get some photos this year of harvest. I miss that. Always fun.
