National Lazy Day

Could be me everyday!!!! True born couch potato!!

Today's Name Day: Lars

    Another great day!!!  The day started with rain & continued through mid-afternoon.  Awesome!!  I finally emptied my rain gauge.  There were 2 rains in it.  Had 2 inches in it.  Going to take tons more of rain to even start to fix our drought.  Rain gone now.  Supposed to rain in the morning again.

    Today I worked at the SVAFC.  The show was hand made furniture or things from wood,  Awesome pieces!!  What talented people we have in our area.  Fun show.

    I brought a bag with books, etc. in it to keep me busy if I got bored.  But I photoed all the pieces, then edited those photos & added them to a folder to save them in.  And shared with JR & a friend.  When I got done doing that, a friend came in to see the show.  Then he sat down & talked for a long time.  So enjoyable.  After he left an artist I know well came to browse.  And then she sat down to chat.  A pleasant surprise.  Turned in to a good afternoon.

    My grandson went to work across the street at the Öl Stuga, our local bar.  I got off at 5pm & he started work at 5pm.  Perfect.  I had supper there.  Better than my cooking.  Had a cheeseburger with their special sauce.  I want a bottle of it!!!  Here am I at the bar.

    I always worry about going in there alone.  I fear everyone will think I am too old or whatever.  And I hate to go in some place where I am not comfortable & even alone.  But tonight was good.  His co-workers were nice.  He stayed busy but still gave me attention.  I will do it again.  Nice to get out & eat somewhere different.  And meet new people.

    Cinder has been in all day.  She & Kisse are fighting over Cinder's fave chair.  And Cinder has given up.  She just sleeps on the washer rather than fight.  I get home there is no Kisse anywhere but Cinder is in her fave chair!!  Sneaky!!!  She went out now.  She must have heard or sensed the rain this morning.  We can sleep late tomorrow!!

    Temp stayed in the 60s today.  Please, please, please stay!!  But it won't as my jolly heat loving weatherman loves to stress.  😧

Huge Dalahäst at the Hemslöjd.  Taller than I am.

This is at our very old Baptist Church that someone has bought & is doing work on it.  Thank the lord no one bought it for a parking lot.  And I saw they now have their own Dalahäst.  Cool.
