Pain Awareness Month
During Pain Awareness Month, the U.S. Pain Foundation aims to explore the full extent of pain, highlight the necessity for better data, and raise awareness about pain research and its impact on the 51.6 million Americans living with chronic pain.
I suffer from daily pain of some kind. Once in a while it is mild. Once in a while it is severe. Occasionally unbearable. Hard to live a good life daily. And seems like most people do not know or care. Or think I am faking.

Today was a so-so day. I did not sleep well last night but in the end I glad. JR had a couple of photos he worked on overnight from a parade in 1981. While working on the one in super magnification he noticed people across the street. He discovered it was our dad, our mom, & me. I was awful back in my bleached out blonde curly haired days!!!! What a treasure. Mom was laughing & looking happy. Fun to remember her that way. I had tears. A treasure!!
Then I fell asleep until 11am. Ate lunch & watched my soaps. Then Cinder came in for her nap. She is out now.
Before supper I posted the 3 photos JR had worked on. I wrote a lot to explain what he had done & what he found. So much fun! We even got a super compliment. Nice.
Hated our weather. Our high was 93. Further south they hit 100. Better them than us. Hot again tomorrow. Rain starts Saturday late afternoon or evening through Monday. Sunday we get down in the 60s. The low sunday night is in the 40s. At last!! I hate hot weather, humidity, bugs, summer clothes, etc. I never have a fun summer. No fun BBQs for me. (Sure there are some near me or by people I know but i am never included.) No going to the beach. No fun alone. No vacation. Not that winters are exciting for me. At least there is no heat & maybe just maybe some snow for me & my camera.
I really splurged for myself. I do a lot for others but I rarely get anything from anyone else. I saw an Advent calendar that every day opens for a small gnome for me. A real gnome! I can hardly wait to start!!! I will share a photo every day!!!
