National Cancer Survivor's Day
Important to me. Mom was a cancer survivor. And several friends.
Today's Name Day: Roger, Rutger
Had another busy day. Worked again at the SVAFC. Not as busy today & I was not as tired. A friend from Hays KS came in to see our show. We had a great visit. We like each other's posts on FB but not in person. Great discussion of art. Great to see him!
About the time to go home a cousin & her husband came in. And stayed a while to visit. Their son always has art in our local shows. He is so talented. MH who unlocks for me & the locks up when I go in knows them also so he joined our visit. Made a grand day.
Supper was at Pizza Hut. Not much of an appetite. Got pasta & garlic bread Should have just got the bread. It was extra good today. Then dessert at the Tropical Sno. Superb.
I was tired so I took a short nap when I got home. Feel better now. Cinder is in but begging to go out, She knows better! Plus rain is forecast.
Before work I took time to take photos of a small patch of flowers I found a couple years in an alley. No idea who planted them. Not as many this year since we are in a drought. But still beautiful. Those photos are what I sharing today. The first two photos were taken with the portrait setting, And they came out perfect. Will have to work on this setting.
